Having a website's good but, not good enough

Social media - platforms like Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn - presents very real opportunities for organisations and individuals that, despite limited resources, need to maximise their impact or reach

Use of social media by the UK population is increasing rapidly - figures below (from UMPF, September 2011):

More than half the UK popluation were on Facebook
37.4 million adults using Facebook regularly
32.1 million adults using YouTube regularly
15.5 million UK adults on Twitter
7.9 million UK adults on LinkedIn
